The North Miami Public Library will host a special Haitian culinary class led by celebrated chef, author, and cultural ambassador Chef Thia. Attendees will get a hands-on experience exploring traditional Haitian cuisine through storytelling, step-by-step demonstrations, and tasting opportunities.

Chef Thia, known for her passion for preserving and sharing Haiti’s rich culinary heritage, will guide participants in preparing classic Haitian dishes while discussing the cultural significance of each ingredient. This free community event is part of the library’s ongoing cultural enrichment series and is open to all ages.
